Fundação Ezute Signs a New Contract With DCNS During the LAAD

Fundação Ezute and the French company DCNS renew the partnership established in 2011 with the signing of an additive to the current contract. The formalization of this new stage was realized on April 5, at 5.30 pm, in Ezute’s stand at LAAD Defense & Security 2017 (Pavillion 2, stand X-34). The event also marked celebrations for the 20 years of Fundação Ezute.

The new contract includes a new stage of training of Fundação Ezute’s team, held in France, as part of the program of transfer of knowledge and technology of the Combat System of the Brazilian Submarine (S-BR), within the Submarine Development Program (PROSUB). A group of engineers of Ezute Foundation will remain for two months at the headquarters of the DCNS in Toulon, France, for a new phase of training and absorption of technology. The team will also accompany the acceptance tests of the Combat System, carried out on a platform (Combat System Shore Integration Facility – SIF). After this event, an additional step of training activities will be held in Brazil.

André Portalis, director of the Program PROSUB by DCNS, says, “DCNS is very satisfied by the new stage reached with Fundação EZUTE, which confirms the group’s commitment to transfer knowledge to Brazilian companies under the program of nationalization defined jointly with the Navy of Brazil for the PROSUB Submarine Development program”.

DCNS, in the quality of provider and integrator of the “State of the Art” combat system is responsible for the integration and performance of the SUBTICS system installed in S-BR and SN-BR submarines and is contributing to the training of professionals of Fundação EZUTE, Brazilian leader in the expertise of integration of complex systems in the area of Defense.

“This new step reinforces the commitment of Fundação Ezute to be the Brazilian partner organization of the Navy for the maintenance and evolution of Submarine Combat Systems, of PROSUB and work towards national autonomy and sovereignty”, concluded the president of Fundação Ezute, Eduardo Marson Ferreira.
