DIGITAL AND GEOREFERENCED MAPPING – METROPOLITAN PLANNING COMPANY OF THE GOVERNMENT OF SÃO PAULO (EMPLASA)
The mapping project of the state of São Paulo involved the completion of specialized technical services of aerophotogrammmetric survey, field support and aero-triangulation, across the whole territory of the State of São Paulo, covering a total area of 264,262.00 km².
This initiative is important not only due to the extension of the catchment area, but mainly due to the planning and management model adopted for the refined level of technical detail and, fundamentally, the orientation of the new national mapping and new standards and rules of acquisition, records and sharing of geographic information, generating qualified products and completing a temporal cartographic gap of more than 30 years.
These activities have been subsidized by specialized technical assistance for the design, implementation, maintenance and updating of a System Monitoring the Phases of the Project, as an objective of monitoring the execution of the mapping, allowing the stakeholders to monitor the phases of the project in the WEB environment (intranet/Internet) and georeferenced, i.e., the entire project could have its progress and evolution monitored and followed in accordance with the physical and territorial evolution of its steps, in a transparent process of implementation and management. Approximately 36,500 printed photographs were evaluated and 36,500 digital photo files of 8 and 16 bits.
In this complex and critical process, Fundação Ezute assessed the quality of all the production processes and products of these phases of the MAPEIA-SP, given the conformity of technical and legal specifications and requirements to all the products delivered, i.e., the conformity of 100% of products of each of the stages of the mapping projects.
